Founders Ramp

Privacy

This page explains what we collect on foundersramp.net, why we collect it, and how to have it deleted.

The home page form

When you send the “Tell us how we can help.” form, we receive:

  • your work email
  • what you typed under “What do you need?”
  • the page you sent it from
  • the campaign tags in the page address, if you arrived through one of our links
  • the country your visit came from, which our host, Cloudflare, adds

We don't record your IP address, and the form doesn't set cookies.

We use this to reply to you and to understand what founders ask us about.

Who sees it

Justin Weller and the small team that helps him run Founders Ramp. When a new note arrives, we post an alert in our team chat. It shows at most the web domain of your email, such as your company's, never your full email address or your message. We don't sell what you send us. It is stored with the services that run the site and our team chat (Cloudflare and Slack), and we don't share it with anyone else. RB2B, described below, collects its own information about your visit.

How long we keep it

A daily cleanup deletes your note from the site's storage at Cloudflare once it is 30 days old. A copy goes to our lead inbox, where it stays until you ask us to delete it.

Counting visits

We count four things on the site: views of our short-answer pages, views of the First Sales Hire Tracker, runs of the payback calculator, and clicks on our booking link. For each one we keep the page, the link text, the site you came from, any campaign tags and your country. We don't use cookies for this, and we don't keep what you type into the calculator. A daily cleanup deletes these counts once they are 180 days old.

The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies. It also uses RB2B on every page. RB2B sets its own cookies in your browser and uses them, with your IP address, to try to identify the business and, in some cases, the person behind a visit, such as a name, company and LinkedIn profile. When it finds a match, it sends it to us in our team chat. To opt out of RB2B, visit https://app.retention.com/optout.

Deleting your information

Email jw@foundersramp.net and ask us to delete what you sent. We'll remove it from our lead inbox and any notes we made about it, and the daily cleanup deletes the copy in the site's storage once it is 30 days old. We'll reply to confirm.
